Last week, Wesley Manor Retirement Center in Frankfort hosted its Women in Focus program, focusing on the topic of hydration as summer approaches.
The event featured Wellness Program Manager at Wesley Manor Emily Frank as the guest speaker. During the program, Frank spoke about the dangers of dehydration and the significance of staying hydrated, especially as warmer weather sets in.
Attendees gained valuable insights into maintaining proper hydration levels for overall health and well-being.
Wesley Manor’s Marketing Coordinator Octavia Trent said the high turnout for the Women in Focus program was educational, saying, “It was great to see so many of our la-dies attend as they really gained very good information from the presentations.”
The Women in Focus program at Wesley Manor began a year ago to provide informative sessions on various health-related topics, promoting wellness and education among its residents and the community. The program includes a speaker each month to inform residents and the public on different health topics each month.
Emily did a great job with the presentation and is always so helpful in answering questions and helping residents afterward if needed,” Octavia said.
